Yeah, I don't use yellow magic much either. It's more that I'm used to switching the moonstone colors on my weapons, so I'm fairly aware of the what colors are effective against what. That's part of what makes the game fun & interesting. You can test if certain colors/magic work better than others against one another.

Hehe. Yeah, see, I'm just always like, "AIKA NEEDS TO LEARN SACRULEN. -Switches weapon to green-" or "RISELEM FOR FINA. -Silver-" xD I kinda don't bother with the whole type-advantage thing. Except for the Rokwyrm in the Temple of Pyrynn. That thing is a BEAST. >_>

Well I make Aika learn Sacrulen no questions asked, but if I only had healing spells to cast, battles would take far longer to end. Therefore I like to have an assortment of spells, rather than rely on Lambda Burst or Cutlass Fury to destroy everything.

Sacrulen is a lifesaver, especially with that last ship battle. >_> Hehe. I'm the opposite though, I switch around my colors to that they do learn other spells, but I mostly use the more powerful moves like Pirate's Wrath to destroy monsters. Pirate's Wrath FTW. xD

Don't get me wrong, I do use Special Moves often, but I don't want Vyse to hog every kill. : P I usually don't focus on getting Pirate's Wrath. I actually usually leave that S.Move for one of the last to learn. I usually focus on Lunar Light & kept Vyse w/ Rain of Swords.

I agree about Sacrulen; I've had time where I was lucky to survive at all against the last ship battle. Though with the gigases, it's not so critical, even if it is nice to have.

I see. I usually have Aika learn up to Delta Shield, then switch to focusing on having Vyse and Fina learn their Moves. I always make sure Vyse knows Pirate's Wrath before heading down into Dangral Island for the second time, though, since Vigoro is hard to beat without it. xP

At one point, I died because Aika was the only one who learned Sacrulen and she ran out of MP near the end of the Zelos battle. >_> So now, I make sure to recruit Polly and have Fina as well as Aika learn the spell.

Yeah, Aika runs out of MP fast. I've been using magic droplets to fix that temporarily.

I usually don't use Delta Shield unless I know an enemy uses death magic...like gravers in the south ocean. Any random enemy that casts death magic on the party really annoys me. Delta Shield is also a risk, since you can't heal your party unless you have items.

Vigoro I'm sure I've beaten without Pirates's Wrath. It mostly depends on your attack strategies. Any boss can easily be take down with Vyse doing all the damage, but I prefer to try & not have Vyse get all the credit for every battle if I can help it.

Oh man. Gravers. Ugh. Getting through South Ocean the first time I played was a BEAST since Aika didn't know Delta Shield.

Heh, yeah, that's true. Now that you've said it, I'm probably going to be all OCD about having everyone battling instead of having Aika always use Delta Shield, Fina heal, etc. xD

Pirate's Wrath comes in real handy in the final battle, though, considering how many hitpoints that boss has. >_>

Hehe.

I'm patient with boss battles in most RPGs, so hit points don't bother me too much. It's the suspense of "which move is that character going to use?" that gets to me. : D
